Since its inception in 2005, the Coalition of Care has provided financial assistance to those in need in Licking County. The requests keep increasing but God has been faithful in providing the assistance needed to meet these needs, and each individual seeking help is treated with dignity during the intake process.
The coalition is always looking for additional volunteers to work in our office, additional churches to join our network, prayer support, and additional funding.
As a Coalition Member...
You can be confident that each client referred to the Coalition is being treated with respect, that each situation is kept confidential, and that each receives coaching through their current crisis.
Our intake and assessment volunteers receive ongoing training and mentoring as they interact with clients.
We take stewardship of funds very seriously and verify each request. If financial assistance is provided, payments are made directly to vendors.
The staff and volunteers at the Coalition have current information on ever-changing local resources. Every attempt is made to connect clients to local/county resources before pledging Coalition dollars. When clients have expenses greater than the Coalition can meet, we work to find solutions to their needs by collaborating with other organizations in the area with whom we have developed close working relationships.
Your church will receive quarterly newsletters with information about the Coalition needs in our community, and upcoming events. As a 501 (c)(3) all funds donated to the Coalition are tax deductible as provided by law.
